LEXINGTON, Ky. — Marisa Rojo has been named a Division III All-America Honorable Mention the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced Tuesday.

Rojo adds another accolade to her incredible senior season. The Hacienda Heights native earned All-West Region honors and was named First Team All-SCIAC earlier this year.

"Marisa's dedication and strength have enabled her to become the person and athlete she is today," said Head Coach Jenna Panatier. "We are proud of everything she has accomplished thus far, and look forward to witnessing her continued successes in the future."

The senior led the Leopards with a career-high 290 kills, 192 coming in SCIAC play. She added 255 digs, 28 blocks, and 28 assists leading her squad to 18 wins.

She racked up 542 career kills in just two seasons with La Verne.

The Leopards finished second in the SCIAC regular season, earning a spot SCIAC Postseason Tournament.
