LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sienna Kendricks has been tabbed Second Team All-West Region, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced on Wednesday.
Kendricks picks up All-Region honors for the first time in her career. The senior ranked fifth in the SCIAC with 12 doubles and ranked second on the Leopards' squad with 44 hits. Kendricks finished the year with a .478 batting average, .545 on-base percentage, and a .707 slugging percentage. She also added 20 RBI, 44 hits, and 14 runs.
Kendricks finishes her career with three All-SCIAC honors including two first-team recognitions. In her final appearance in the orange and green, Kendricks tallied four RBI with a home run and double in La Verne's 10-2 win.
The NFCA announced that a total of 364 players earned 2019 NCAA Division III All-Region softball honors. The squads are comprised of three 15-player teams — plus voting ties — in each of the country's eight NCAA regions.
