weekend, but came up empty, dropping games to Siena College (14-8),
Concordia, Irvine (13-4), Grove City College (11-6), and Chapman
University (20-10)
The Leopards started by taking on Siena and kept close early in

taking a 13-4 final.

goals (9-6) at the end of the third period. But a scoreless fourth
quarter led to a 11-6 defeat.
The Leopards concluded the tournament by taking on the hosting
Panthers. La Verne trailed 9-5 at the break, and struggled in the
third quarter, falling behind 14-6. Despite 4 final quarter goals,
the Leopards dropped their final game 20-10.
