Sievers earned first team honors and Sanchez was named an honorable mention. Both players earn All-Region honors for the first time in their careers.
"I am so proud of our two senior captains," said head coach Jenna Panatier. "As good as they are at volleyball, Kelsie and Kristen are even better people. It has been such an honor to be their coach, and I'm excited to see where life takes them in the future."
Sievers had the best season of her career. The outside hitter finished tied for first in the SCIAC with 3.58 kills per set and finished ranked second with 387 total kills, both marks were career highs. Sievers ends her career with 608 kills, 142 blocks, and 119 digs. The Apple Valley native earned First Team All-SCIAC honors earlier this season.
Sanchez also had a year full of career highs. The libero from Alta Loma notched career bests with 588 digs, 5.50 digs per set, and 136 assists. Sanchez led the SCIAC in both digs and digs per set. The senior was also a three-time All-SCIAC selection during her time as a Leopard and ends her illustrious career ranked second in program history with 1,969 digs.
