Pacheco, Ruden Named Second Team All-SCIAC

Sarah Ruden and Delanie Pacheco represented the University of La Verne women's soccer squad on the 2011 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Team as announced by the league office.

Both Ruden and Pacheco were selected to the All-SCIAC Second Team as voted on by conference coaches.

A freshman from Chino, Pacheco played 17 games and made 15 starts as the Leopard goalkeeper, collecting 101 saves on the season.  As a defender, Ruden earned starts in 16 of her 18 games played in 2011.   A sophomore from Oceanside, Ruden was a consistent performer in the lineup and helped anchor the Leo defense throughout the season.
