Lindsey Shiomi will serve as interim head coach for the 2009-10 campaign.

A 2007 graduate of La Verne, Shiomi served as an assistant coach for the Leopards during the 2008-09 season.  She was involved in nearly every aspect of the program including assisting with practice plans, scouting, and recruiting.   Shiomi was a three-year starter as the Leopard point guard and holds the career record for assists (315).  She also earned Second Team All-SCIAC honors three consecutive years in 2006, 2007 and 2008. 

She set a La Verne single-game mark for three-point field goals with eight against Pomona-Pitzer on Feb. 22, 2007.
