Associate Head Coach Dominick Copas enters his eighth season with the Leopard basketball program.  Copas was on three championship squads as ULV women's basketball assistant, helping guide the 2003 and 2007 SCIAC Championship teams along with the 2008 SCIAC Tournament Championship team. 

A 1988 graduate of the University of La Verne, Copas earned his degree in business administration.  Copas will be inducted into the La Verne Athletic Hall of Fame in March 2009 after a standout baseball career with the Leopards as a member of three SCIAC Championship baseball squads.  One of the top power hitters in the SCIAC, he led La Verne in both home runs and runs batted in two of the three seasons (1986, 1987) and topped the squad in batting average in 1987. 

Copas also teaches in the mathematics and business departments at Los Osos High School.  He resides in Rancho Cucamonga with wife Anne and daughters Jennifer, Amanda and Dominick, Jr.
