Justin Duarte is in his first season with the Leopard baseball program after spending two seasons coaching at Azusa Pacific University. While at APU, Duarte helped the Cougars reach the NAIA College World Series in 2007.

A two-time All-American at Azusa Pacific, Duarte was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies before concluding his professional career in the San Diego Padres organization.

Duarte teaches science and physical education at Fairvalley Alternative High School in Covina.
