Alex La is in his third season as head men’s and women’s water polo coach at the University of La Verne. 

La was an assistant coach with both the La Verne men’s and women’s teams for the 2004-05 season before assuming the role of the Leopards’ interim head men’s coach during the 2007 campaign.  He also has been active at the club level, serving as head coach of three age groups at the Foothill Water Polo Club in Claremont the past two years.

Additionally, La played water polo at La Verne during the 2001 and 2002 seasons before earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2003.  He also earned master’s degree at ULV in Marketing in 2005.
