Olivia Palmer |
Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach |
Diving coach Olivia Palmer earned her B.S. in Animal Science in
1989 from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. During
1998-2007, Palmer coached for a private Country Club that started
with 9 divers and grew to a team of over 50. She led the team to a
3-time Sunkist League Championship victory.
After the events of September 11th, Palmer developed a U.S.A.
Diving and A.A.U. Diving Club team named Stars & Stripes Diving
dedicated to helping children “live their dreams”.
Through this program Palmer has developed 5 National Team members.
Palmer has been coaching at Bonita High School since 2006. She
began with a team of 5 divers and grew to a team of over 20. Palmer
led the girl's team to consecutive C.I.F. Championship wins.
Palmer has been coaching at the University of La Verne since 2005.
She has advanced three team members to SCIAC Championships with one
diver placing to a 3rd place finish last year. Palmer also coached
the Mt. San Antonio College Diving team in 2005. Outside of
coaching, she is a Physical Therapist Asstistant for Citrus Valley
Health Partners and has been working in the field for over 15
years.
