About The Program

1997: La Verne builds 25 yard x 50 yard Aquatic Facility

1998: University of La Verne Starts a Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving program along with a Men’s and Women’s Water Polo program.  In the first event at the SCIAC Conference, La Verne breaks a 10-year-old conference record.

Since 1998 La Verne has produced

• 7 All-Americans

• 4 Conference Records

• 14 National Qualifiers (NCAA Division III)
  

• 4 Scholar Athletes of the Year

• 1 Swimmer of the Year

• 1 Diver of the Year
