Returning All-America Rizal AminAmin Among Division III Nicklaus Award Finalists
Junior golfer Rizal Amin has landed on the Jack Nicklaus Award Watch List for 2008.
The Jack Nicklaus Award is presented to the Player of the Year in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, as well as NAIA, immediately following the national championships.
Among the season highlights for Amin include a first place finish at the SCIAC #3 Tournament at Sierra La Verne in March along with a second place effort at the West Region Invitational in Georgetown, TX.
A product of Temecula, Amin is one of three returning Division III All-Americans on the list and joins Redlands golfers Ross Canavan and E.J. Stenftenagel as the only representatives from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) listed among the best 15 golfers from Division III.
