The Leopards (7-3) broke the game open with an 11-1 run that started at the 8:46 mark in the first half. Hakim Arnold flushed a fast break dunk during the stretch and Brandon Rice capped off the run with an and-1 off a tip-in to give the Leopards a 38-24 lead.

But White went 4-for-4 including a 3-pointer in the next two minutes to lead a 12-3 La Verne run and the Leopards continued pouring it on for the rest of the game as they stretched the lead to as much as 30 points.
La Verne controlled the pace on both ends. The Leopards made 37 of 68 field goals (54.4 percent) on 19 assists and sank 10 of 23 3-point attempts (43.5 percent). La Verne held the Bulldogs to just 33.8 percent shooting while forcing 15 turnovers that turned into 24 easy points on the other end.
