New Partnership With Sheraton

The University of La Verne women’s cross country squad raced at the SCIAC Championships at La Mirada Park Saturday morning to conclude their 2007 season.

For ULV, sophomore Amanda Seibert led the way in 22nd place with a time of 24:31.51. Sophomore Jackie Steele finished 26th at 24:46.58, sophomore Mallorie Munoz ran in 37th at 25:29.44 and senior Amanda Santos earned 66th in 28:18.28.

The Occidental Tigers won the team race with 43 points and four-of-seven runners placing in the Top 10. Pomona-Pitzer’s Alicia Freese gained first place with a time of 22:18.86 to win the individual crown.
