On behalf of the University of La Verne Athletic Training Department, we would like to welcome you and your team to the University of La Verne. We hope that your visit is safe and injury free. Below you will find information that you will need during your stay.
It is our mission to provide the student athletes at ULV with the best health care possible. The University of La Verne Athletic Training Department delivers traditional athletic training and sports medicine services to the student-athletes of The University of La Verne. The services provided to the student-athlete can be divided into four areas:
- Prevention of athletic injuries.
- Recognition, evaluation, and treatment of athlete injuries and illnesses.
- Rehabilitation and reconditioning of all injuries incurred by student athletes.
- Health and wellness education.
"Athletic trainers are health care professionals skilled in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries that result from physical activity" (NATA). The Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) at the University of La Verne (ULV) are dedicated to keeping their student-athletes healthy and participating. Six ATCs, assisted by the athletic training students, provide high quality care for ULV intercollegiate athletes.
